In SSI’s
Science of Diving course,
you will learn how physics
and physiology are
intertwined with everyday
diving activities and gain a
greater understanding of
each. Science of Diving is
an excellent supplement to
any of SSI’s specialty
programs, especially the
Nitrox and Navigation Diver
programs; and is an
excellent foundation for the
Advanced Nitrox or other
Technical Extended Range
courses.
Upon the
completion of the course you
will receive a Science of
Diving Certification Card.

The SDSFW
Science of Diving course
includes 8 hours of
instruction, all student
materials, a Science of
Diving C-Card, and is
conducted in two – four hour
sessions.
